👦 It's that time of the year and Halloween is quickly approaching. We want all families to be able to participate in holiday festivities.

Did you say "ti ah teet"?

👉 Word alternatives, use different phrases, making it easier to communicate

• "Candy or joke"
• "Ti ah teet"
• "Whoo Whoo"
• "Boo"

‍👉 Sign language, teach your child to express candy and thank you

• "Candy": use your index finger, touch it right under your mouth area next to chin and twisting your finger back and forth.
• "Thank you": take dominant hand to chin, moving slightly down towards the person you're talking to.

‍👉 Images icons, write some phrases on cards that suit your child's needs, for example

• "Trick-or-treat"
• "Loud noises can be hard for me, please don't jump or scare me"
• "Thank you for the candy"
